Batch - Bring Together Domain Batch File

This is a batch file to automatically bring together the figurer to the specified domain, the purposes of the batch file every bit below :-

• To avoid typography mistake inward domain name.
• To avoid mismatch username as well as password when joining to domain.

Syntax of the ascendency :

 

netdom bring together %COMPUTERNAME% /domain:[domain name] /userd:[domain\username] /passwordd:[password]

 

• %COMPUTERNAME% = Computer's Name, a variables.
• [domain name] = The actual domain cite (eg. google.com)
• [domain\username] = The actual domain's username (eg. google.com\administrator)
• [password] = The username's password.

Of class you lot tin position inward a lot of things into this batch file such every bit checking the computer's cite validity (eg. length of the name, cross checking amongst a database file to check the S/N etc.)

Note that the "netdom" ascendency is NOT AVAILABLE inward touchstone Windows vii OS, it must live installed separately. Download & install Microsoft Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT).
