Office 2016 - Outlook Autodiscover.Xml

Recently i of my client bring upgraded their Microsoft Office from 2013 to 2016 version in addition to bring encountered problems inwards creating an Outlook profile for their novel employee(s).

What I bring discovered is that Outlook 2016 no longer render the "Outlook Anywhere" features whereby all Outlook accounts must live connected to Exchange server straight for .ost synchronization therefore the characteristic is no longer available.

According to Microsoft the argue behind the changes is having .ost straight connected to Exchange server is for to a greater extent than stability & reliability... aye rite. 1. First y'all volition require to practise an "autodiscover.xml" file alongside the next contents. You tin flaming practise this yesteryear using notepad.

3. Open --> regedit --> Browse to --> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover.

Note : Create "AutoDiscover" fundamental if non available.

 

4. Create --> String Value = [FQDN].

Note : Change the [FQDN] to your domain scream (eg. domain.com or domain.com.my)
